My name is Teng/Chih-Jen, I'm a game developer, a software engineer, and a fencing learner at Taiwan. I currently coordinate a game team of Kowloonia Limited at Kaohsiung. And our current project is developing a mobile card game.
I've completed the job of senior software engineer at Vismile Inc. [9] at 2012. Before hiring by Kowloonia Limit as a Co-Producer, I made my first Indie game: Kobayashi Maru Commander by myself with Unity in 604 hours, and finally released it in open source.
Currently, I am in charge of a tiny game team at Kaohsiung at 2013. Our first project was to develop the next version of a strategy game about history of Mainland China, called Age of 1911 (民國無雙). The next title of it will be Revolutionary of the Sun, and will be released at Feb. 2014.
At 2013, I also taught a course of Unity and game programming for Industrial Development Bureau, Ministry of Economic Affairs, which the name of this course is “Online game design course with Unity”(145hours).
I earned my base degree and master of computer science of engineering at National Cheng Kung University at 2005. Computer graphics was my major. At college life, I and several friends attended amateur game design competition 3 times in connecting 3 years, we had a designed strategy game, a first person shooting game, and a party game.
At university, I did researches about 3D model decomposition analysis of computer graphics and published it as my master thesis. Before that I did some investigations in photorealistic rendering like hair simulation and cloth simulation.
After graduating from school, I entered a program of 4-years military duty, and selected an unit, named Industrial Technology Research Institute, to serve as an associate engineer. From 2006 to 2010. I did some researches about human-skeleton controling interactive system via multi-view modeling, another assignment is stereo augmented reality via Interior Design (2009), multi-view 3D modeling and rendering on visual hull (2008), mutli-view 3D motion reconstruction using template-based model (2007), and high dynamic range image (2006) ( you can check some link in my research tag ).
At 2010, I changed my career, as a senior software engineer, to another company, International Game System at Wuhu Industrial Park of New Taipei City. My department develops arcade games. I credited the title: Funny Table(link) as a lead programmer at 2011, Hero of Robots(link) and Sangokushi Taisen (for Chinese series) 1.0,1.1(link)
At early 2012, I’ve changed job to a startup interactive media company, called Vismile Inc., developing a virtual-clothing product, and leave this company at Nov. 2012.
